Application:
This is the full-featured Battery Management System(BMS) thatdesigned to monitor 8s-16s battery pack at 200A rate. The BMS offersprotection and recovery to individual cell over/under voltage, packover/under voltage, charge/discharge over current, high/lowtemperature and short circuit. And accurately calculates the SOCandSOH status. As well as keeps voltage balancing during charginganddischarging. And could also monitors parameter settings anddatathrough computer via RS485 interface. (Baud rate 19200).
Functions:
***The detection of individual cell and battery pack.By detecting the cell voltage in real-time, BMS provides over/undervoltage warnings and protections. At the temperature of 0~45℃, themeasured voltage difference is about ±10mV. While at the temperatureof -20~0℃ and 45~70℃, the measured voltage difference is ±30mV.
***The detection of cell, ambient and chip temperature.By detecting the temperature of cells (4 of the 16 cells), ambienttemperature, and temperature of PCB board in real-time via NTC, BMS provides high/low temperature warnings and protections. The measureddifference is ±2℃. Cell temperature sensor NTC value is 10KΩ, and B-value at 3435. The warning and protection threshold value can be configurable through software.
***The detection of charge and discharge current.With the current sense resistors in the charging/discharging circuit, BMSdetects and monitors the the input and output current in real-time, andprovides over current warnings and protections. When the temperaturerise is less than 40℃, the measured accuracy is up to ±1%. The warningand protection current threshold can be configurable through software.
